Product Description
Invoke Professional Strength
70% TCA Peel – Ultra Deep Strength (1oz) (50ml)
A powerful multi-acid resurfacing treatment designed to deeply exfoliate, renew, and rejuvenate the skin. This advanced formula combines TCA with a blend of exfoliating acids and skin-repairing ingredients to improve overall skin clarity, texture, and tone.
Ingredients
- TCA 70% Ultra Deep Strength Peel (1oz) = Water, Trichloroacetic Acid
Critical Warning
70% Trichloroacetic acid is a deep chemical peel. It is a medical procedure with high risk of scarring, permanent hypopigmentation, and systemic toxicity if misused. It is NOT for at-home use and should only be performed by board-certified dermatologists or plastic surgeons in a clinical setting. Many countries restrict sale to licensed HCPs only.
Benefits
Used for severe skin concerns where superficial/medium peels fail:
- Deep wrinkles: Significant collagen remodeling for severe photoaging
- Severe acne scarring: Ice-pick, boxcar scars
- Actinic keratoses: Precancerous lesions – sometimes used as field treatment
- Deep pigmentation: Resistant melasma, lentigines
- Skin laxity: Creates controlled dermal injury for tightening
FOR PROFESSIONAL USE. EXPERIENCED USERS ONLY.
- Patient selection: Extensive medical history. Cardiac, liver, kidney function labs. Fitzpatrick I-III only. Types IV-VI have very high risk of permanent hypopigmentation/scarring.
- Pre-treatment: Patient must pre-treat with tretinoin + hydroquinone 4-6 weeks. Antiviral prophylaxis for HSV history. Stop retinoids 7 days prior. No Accutane for 12+ months.
- Setting: Clinical procedure room with monitoring. IV access recommended. Cardiac monitor for large areas due to systemic absorption risk. Eye protection, skin barrier ointment on sensitive areas.
- Application: Physician applies with cotton-tipped applicator or gauze. Single pass only. End point = solid white “frost” with pink background. Do NOT neutralize – TCA is self-neutralizing. Frosting takes 30 sec-2 min to appear.
- Area limits: Never full face at once at 70%. Segmental approach only. >3% BSA at one time risks systemic toxicity, arrhythmia.
- Immediate post: Cool saline compresses. Occlusive ointment like Aquaphor. Pain management required – this is very painful.
- Frequency: Once in a lifetime for most areas. Repeat only after 1+ year and only if indicated.
PRECAUTIONS & CONTRAINDICATIONS
- Absolute contraindications: Pregnancy, active infection, isotretinoin in last 12 months, keloid history, Fitzpatrick IV-VI, unrealistic expectations, poor wound healing, cardiac disease, liver/renal impairment.
- Systemic toxicity: TCA is absorbed. >35% on large areas can cause arrhythmias, CNS effects. 70% amplifies this risk.
- Scarring/HP risk: Very high. Improper depth = permanent scarring or permanent white hypopigmentation.
- Sun: Absolute avoidance 3-6 months. SPF 50+ lifelong on treated area.
- Complications: Prolonged erythema for months, milia, acne flare, infection, HSV reactivation, cardiac arrhythmia.
WHAT TO EXPECT POST-PEEL
- 0-24hrs: Severe burning, dark brown “crust” forms. Edema. Pain meds needed.
- Days 2-10: Tight, dark mask-like crust. Oozing possible. No washing. Patient looks like severe burn victim.
- Days 7-14: Crust begins to slough. Raw, red skin underneath. High infection risk.
- Weeks 2-12: Intense redness/erythema. Gradual fading over 3-6 months.
- Downtime: 2-3 weeks minimum before social activities. Full healing 3-6 months.
NOTE
70% TCA is considered a medical drug/device in many jurisdictions, not a cosmetic.
“For professional use only by qualified physicians. Danger: Corrosive. Causes severe burns.”
⚠️ CAUTION
For external use only. Do not apply to red, irritated skin. Immediately neutralize and discontinue use if excessive redness or irritation occur. Keep out of reach of children.
🌞 SUNBURN ALERT
This product contains potent chemicals that may increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.
SHELF LIFE & USAGE
There are no US laws or regulations that require cosmetics to have specific shelf lives or have expiration dates on their labels, but there is a time frame for when they should be used after opening.
We recommend using the product within 90 days after opening maximum. Unopened and kept in a cool, dry environment away from direct sunlight, some products can last up to 2 years. While using older products may not be relatively harmful, the product may have lost some potency and may not be as effective as a newer, fresher product.
IMPORTANT
This is not skincare – this is a controlled chemical surgery. No reputable dermatologist uses 70% TCA as a standard peel anymore. Most use 35% TCA + Jessner’s or 88% phenol for deep peels due to better control. 70% TCA has unpredictable penetration.
Do not attempt this yourself. Seek a board-certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon.
Please read complete instructions that arrive with your Peel, Peel Prep Solution, Neutralizer Solution, and Hyaluronic Replenish Serum on label prior to application.
Ingredients, Direction for Use, Strength and Quantity are clearly mentioned inside on label.
